Eleanor Margolies is a writer and theatre-maker. Publications include The Day the Food Ran Out, Theatre Materials and Props: Readings in Theatre Practice. Her translation of Patrick Dubost’s poems, Manifesto for a Modern Theatre, was published in 2019.

She was the first Jocelyn Herbert Research Fellow at the National Theatre/University of the Arts, London (2016-19) and curated the National Theatre exhibition ‘Playing with Scale’. Her research arising from the Jocelyn Herbert Archive can be found here.
